"As it's only the strength of character that makes the beauty of art, it often happens that the more a being is ugly in nature, it is more beautiful in art. There is nothing ugly in art that is without character, ie which offers no outer or inner truth. Is ugly in art what is false, what is artificial, what seeks to be pretty or beautiful instead of being expressive, what is insipid without reason, that arches and rears without cause, all that is soulless and without truth, everything which is just a parade of beauty or grace, everything that lies. "

Your comment is quite neural, but I think it's a compliment :-)

indeed it is ( complimentary ) , -definitely so.
the series is like ∞ º˙˚˜°’”ˆ¨ˇ´˝˘¯¨ˆ˙

almost over real.. scarily so.
-while a microscope might procure a like image, it would never see it as such. norpeople later think of it.. ( there must be a reason why archaelogical digs still employ a draftsman to record their finds ) -so much can seen / conveyed in this deceptively simple process of observational drawing..
If anyone has written about your work, I'd be really curious to read some of it. -guess I should simply search the web huh. -a few of us are putting together a presentation, essay, talk on contemporary drawing and I'd like to include some of your work. some excrps's par example and the sans titre series..?
I think it will be interesting to people in part because it references, respects so much the european traditions and works of the past while subtly gnawing it away, and being completely a part of the here and now. -just a snowflake on the tip of the iceberg.

I thought I should at least ask if 's ok before hand..
