In the old days you used to have a lot of these kind of drawings. Looks nice and special!

In the early 1900's you had these type of b/w dotted drawings. Mostly from mineshafts or a building in a landscape.

Do you have photo reference for these pieces, or does it just come out of your imagination?

Believe me or not, I don't know how I do it either, for, on most of them, I draw directly in ink without preliminary drawing in pencil...

That is even more amazing Bernard. You are truly someone to aspire to. Hopefully one day I will be able to achieve half of what you can do.

It's easy to be kind, and complimentary when it comes to your work Bernard.

*sobbing with frustration* Why can't I do something like that? OMG how amazing, and how detailed. And in INK no less. Sometimes you are so inspiring, at other times you make me feel totally inadequate and like I'll never be able to learn to do any art on a grand scale. *sigh*

But YOUR work is absolutely divine. You are truly my hero, and one of the single most talented artists I've ever seen on DA.

Will you marry me? lol
