very interesting forms here, and the harsh vertical contrast lines on the right side of the image are a nice accent -- was there any imagery that influenced the composition/form of the piece?

No, nothing influenced the outcome of my image, only chance :-)

Classic Bernardumaine! I like the subtle blurring on the left edge.

Another visual delight. I like watching clouds - this evokes the same response - a dreamy pencil landscape full of new things to see on each viewing.

It's just beautiful.....everything....
Do these straight lines (two...to the right of the middle) force them self on to you or do you do it on purpose?

hah....I thought so....
It's the feeling I most enjoy when drawing.....my subconscious or whatever it is what leeds me...sometimes it's a little scary....but never something to be afraid of... :sun:

J'aime vraiment ce type de texture, on a l'impression que c'est vivant, mais on ne sait pas vraiment ce qu'il en est.

Do you use a particular type of card for your drawings? And do you have a method to prevent 'smudging' the pencil work? :)

My favorite card to draw on is called "Canson lavis studio" ( You can find some stores with Google, not sure you can purchase it internationaly, though ); This drawing, "scapes", was done on a quite similar paper in aspect, but much more unpleasant to work on...I won't make it again !
To avoid smudging, I start my drawing from the upper top left; I keep my hands clean, of course, but I allways put a sheet of paper under my working hand, cause the frictions can cause invisible alterations on the surface of the card and then can produce the drawing action difficult...
